As a company founded by the daughter of two educators, Erin Condren has a heart for teachers and an appreciation for how hard they work to educate and inspire a love of learning in their students. We’re so happy to be able to partner with DonorsChoose.org to help fund classroom projects around the country and support educators who are making a difference every day.
Here are highlights of some of the amazing classroom projects that teachers have shared so far this year and their heartwarming responses to the donations. Explore, get inspired and discover how teachers are instilling a love of knowledge in students in and around your community!
Creating Fun & Functional Classrooms
Many classrooms need extra support to stay organized during the school year. Students in San Juan Capistrano, California used their funds to take their classroom organization to the next level. (And you know we’re ALL about organization!)
āAs my Two-Way Immersion students would say āMuchas gracias and Thank you!ā Thank you so much for taking interest in my students. I can’t wait to help them continue their journey to organization and success. The cubbies and bins will be a huge support in providing an accessible place for them to explore and discover new books. I know they will be excited to use their new materials and to share with others how they can progress to success with a little organization.ā

Building Classroom Libraries
Some schools are still in need of more books and ways to improve classroom libraries.
We love what the students at Harmony Science Academy-Pflugerville in Texas are doing with their donations: adding more diverse books to their library, including fiction, drama and poetry by authors from different backgrounds.
āYou are giving so many students the opportunity to experience a powerful message of self-worth by seeing a reflective representation in books. Now, more than ever, students need the chance to make a connection with reading, something that can make it more enjoyable, and even a way to connect with their peers.ā

Upgrading Classroom Technology
Many classrooms around the country need extra support to add different kinds of technology to studentsā lives. This classroom in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania used their donations for student tablets and other learning tools. Isn’t that amazing?
āThank you so much for funding my project! My students desperately need new technology in the classroom, and because of you they will have that this school year. My heart is so full of joy and gratitude. Your kindness is appreciated more than you know. What a wonderful way to start the school year!ā
