Metallic Rainbow Doodles by Jenny Mendoza
About Jenny
Jenny (she/her) is one of our talented Art Directors and has been an integral part of our EC team for over a decade! She’s an award-winning graphic designer and avid illustrator, with a love of bright colors, enamel pins, and blue gel pens.
My Inspiration by Jenny
Pride is a celebration of inclusivity, identity, and expression; it can also be a tornado of feelings, high and low, as you navigate your life. My Metallic Rainbow Doodles are meant to convey the chaos of emotions that myself and the LGBTQIA+ community have experienced as we try to navigate our own journeys of self-love.
What This Collaboration Means to Me
This collection means so much to me because I’m proud to be queer and proud to be a part of this family. Partnering with EC to give back to such a worthy cause is the best feeling! – Jenny

Metallic Supporting Each Other by Chalise Varner
About Chalise
Chalise (she/they) is another amazing artist and person we’re proud to have on our EC team! She’s our Lead Creative Designer and has been working with us for nearly six years. With a degree in advertising design, graphic design, and illustration, she transforms ink concepts into vector art to create unique characters and illustrations.
My Inspiration by Chalise
My design, Supporting Each Other, was inspired by the diversity of us queer people who inspire me daily with colors of different queer flags. I wanted to show that supporting each other is what it means to have pride in ourselves and our community. I also know that quarantine has been difficult for everyone and all we want to do is hug one another. I hope this piece illustrates that and shows us how to love one another and embrace sonder (or the realization that everyone has their own story as full and complex as your own).
What This Collaboration Means to Me
This collaboration means a great deal to me because it recognizes that my queerness is something to be celebrated in beauty and art. I want my collection to truly show that we are all so diverse and unique, and that’s beautiful. I’m so proud that this collection gives back to The Trevor Project; I’m so grateful to be a part of that. We all need to uplift one another and remind each other that no one should be afraid to be themselves. – Chalise

You Are Magic by Rae Senarighi
About Rae
Rae (he/him) is your average non-binary cancer survivor inspiring self-compassion, activism, and gender resilience. He does this via unapologetic portraiture of vibrant transgender and non-binary power and spreading joyful presentations and meditations worldwide.
My Inspiration by Rae
You are beautiful, whole, and sacred. Right now. As is. In this moment. I truly believe that every human being is worthy of love and respect. I hope the message “You Are Magic” can serve as a reminder to everyone who sees it of their own magic, their beauty, and their strength.
As a painter and a graphic designer, I use different mediums for different purposes. My painted portraits typically take anywhere from one to three months to create because they are so large. There are times when I want to create direct messages and when I feel the need to respond to the negativity in the world in a quick manner. This is where my typographic messages come in. Whenever I create a message to put out into the world, my one guiding principle is that it must be based on love. So even if I am responding to something difficult or painful, I try to think of what it is that I want and it helps guide my messaging. – Rae
